Biography
Physical functioning is central to his treatments: posture, movement, muscle and joint strain, and recovery. Together with the patient, Youri investigates the physical cause of symptoms and, based on that, develops an appropriate treatment plan aimed at improving mobility, physical capacity, and quality of life.
In addition to his work as a physical therapist, Youri is currently studying energy therapy. He uses this knowledge exclusively in a supportive capacity, when it fits within the broader treatment philosophy of the Leonardus Energy Center, and always as a supplement to physical therapy.
Through this combination of traditional physical therapy and additional training, Youri looks beyond the symptom itself, without losing sight of the medical context. Treatment is always tailored to the patient’s individual situation, with clear explanations and realistic expectations.
