Biography
“I started working with energy at a young age. Guided by my intuition, I began treating animals and, later, people as well. I noticed that something was happening under my hands, even though I couldn’t immediately explain or interpret it. I did, however, notice that it had an effect.”
That’s how I eventually came across the Japanese healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. This alternative healing method focuses on the energy that flows through the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu is the knowledge of how this energy can be recharged again and again.
“Based on the theory of Jin Shin Jyutsu and my many years of practical experience, I was ultimately able to develop Leonardus Therapy. At the Leonardus Energy Center, we believe it is important for every patient to feel heard and taken seriously. Despite our careful approach, there may be times when you are not satisfied with a treatment, the communication, or the way you were assisted. In that case, we strongly encourage you to discuss this with us.
Let’s talk first
We recommend that you first discuss your complaint with your healthcare provider. In many cases, a conversation can provide clarity, understanding, or an appropriate solution. You can do this verbally or in writing.
Independent Ombudsman
If you are unable to reach a solution together, or if you feel uncomfortable doing so, you may contact an independent ombudsman. Energetisch Centrum Leonardus is a member of the GAT Dispute Resolution Committee, in accordance with the Healthcare Quality, Complaints, and Disputes Act (Wkkgz).
GAT’s complaints officer:

- listens to your complaint
- helps you formulate your complaint
- acts as an intermediary between you and the healthcare provider
- helps you find a solution

Dispute Resolution Committee
If mediation by the complaints officer does not lead to a satisfactory resolution, you may choose to submit your complaint to the GAT Dispute Resolution Committee. This committee handles the dispute carefully and independently and, if necessary, issues a binding ruling.
Legal Framework
The services provided by Energetisch Centrum Leonardus are governed by Dutch law.
In disputes arising from or related to the healthcare provider’s services, only the competent court is authorized to hear the dispute, unless the dispute is submitted to the GAT Dispute Resolution Committee as described above.

We do not view complaints as a burden, but as an opportunity to improve our care and services. By being open to feedback, we continue to work on quality, professionalism, and trust.
